Winter may be upon us but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about what 2016 will bring for us gardeners!
First stop – make sure you get your tickets for Gardening Scotland – they have just gone on sale – and the event will take place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh from 3rd to 5th June 2016.
The national gardening event, which is often coined ‘the Chelsea flower show for Scotland’ is open to everyone, from novice through to seasoned gardeners, with the aim of creating an environment which inspires and teaches. So, whether you are interested in starting your first window box or in reinventing your garden, make sure you get these dates in your diary!
The event also caters for families, with the Big Back Garden featuring bees, play equipment and a host of other activities to keep children of all ages entertained and parents inspired with garden play ideas. Those who visit Gardening Scotland with planting in mind will be treated to a fantastic range of Show Gardens, the spectacular Floral Hall, the well stocked Plant Village and the very popular Garden Workshops.
Tickets are available for £14 per day if you pre-book. Go to the Gardening Scotland website for further details and to book your tickets. See you there!
