Feng Shui and your garden – Infographic

I’ve always been intrigued by Feng Shui – the idea that we can use energy forces to harmonise ourselves with our surrounding environment. That being said I’ve only ever thought about it in relation to indoor spaces, rather than outdoor ones.

However, I’ve come to learn that the garden is an area which can be just as powerful when it comes to the connection between Feng Shui and your lifestyle.

Applying Feng Shui to a garden is said to help attract positive energy and reduce negative energy in many areas of your life. From the type of plants you choose for your garden to your outdoor furniture choices, you can optimise your outdoor space to bring in positive energy by applying a few basic principles.

There is quite a bit to learn in the world of Feng Shui but you don’t need to have a deep understanding to apply it at home and in your garden. The infographic below, designed by 4Everdeck, guides you through the basics of Feng Shui and is particularly great for beginners.

It starts off with the basics of Feng Shui, then moves through the five elements, applying the Bagua, colour meanings, garden design, popular Feng Shui plants, and then concluding with some top tips for you to take away. Enjoy and please let me know how you get on!
